Management, clients, staff and stakeholders of InvestEye Capital Partners Limited were part of the hundreds of health conscious Ghanaians who joined Lexis Bill, Host of Drive Time on JoyFM, to walk up the Aburi Mountain on Saturday, 30th September 2017.
Participants of the health walk were also taken through vigorous aerobics and health screening exercises after embarking on the 4Km journey from the Ayi Mensah toll booth to the Peduase Presidential Lodge enclave.
The walk is a campaign by Lexis Bill tagged “Walk with Lexis” that seeks to encourage the culture of exercising and healthy living among Ghanaians. It also seeks to encourage people to avoid cardiovascular diseases by exercising regularly.
The walk marked the World Heart Day which is celebrated yearly on September 29, and this year’s theme was ‘Share the Power’. The Day is meant to encourage people across the world to take care of their heart and inspire others to do the same.
High profile personalities who were part of the walk were the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman Manu and Kwaku Sintim-Misa, popularly known as KSM, King of stand-up comedy in Ghana.
The CEO of InvestEye Capital Partners Limited, Nana Osae Addo-Dankwa, after the walk took the opportunity to advice patrons on the benefits of investing and entreated participants that it was always prudent to save for a rainy day. He further advised that “investing was not about how much one earned but how much one was able to save or invest”.
InvestEye used the occasion to introduce some of its investment products such as the MoniMac and the InvestEye Group Plan (IGP), amongst others to participants.
